Here's what happened: Nick got some sea monkey's for his Birthday. He loved them. He purified their water. He carefully prepared their habitat to perfect conditions. He placed their habitat in the most pleasant location. He was looking forward all of the fun activities he would soon have with the monkeys once they matured.
Here's the thing. The kit came with a food packet. We poured the food packet in the habitat just like we poured in the purifier packet and monkey embryo packet.
We found out later that the little tiny yellow scooper that comes with the sea monkey kit measures the food portions. Now we know they only need a tiny scoop of food. Sorry guys. I think you're dead.

My friend raised a beautiful little community of sea monkeys once. I accidentally knocked them off of the table spilling them all over the floor. That was the end of that. She still has not forgiven me 15 years later.
