Here is what's for dinner:

Day 1:
Little Cooked Chicken Pieces w/ Cesar Salad wrapped up in a Tortilla

It's the night after a trip to Costco, so the dinner is extra nutritious and delicious!





Day 2:
Toasted & Buttered Bagels with your choice of available Fruit

This dinner is amazing because everyone can pretty much make their own!




Day 3:
Baby Carrots w/ Ranch and then Cereal if you're still hungry
All sorts of food groups represented here.
Minimal prep time also. A brilliant idea for busy families.

As a courtesy, I removed the moldy carrots.
It doubled the prep time but the presentation was a lot better.






Day 4:
Pancakes, Eggs & Orange Juice

American classic.
Great family bonding opportunity!
We all helped out in the kitchen making this meal.
Preston said with a great smile that these pancakes were a "big hit".

I am a white long sleeve tee snob and this shirt is awesome and it's on sale now at Target.

The fabric feels good. It's soft. The sleeves are super long. The cuffs are like 4 inches. The edge around the collar is crisp. The length is perfect for layering if needed. Great wardrobe staple!

My point: If you've got any money, ANY MONEY at all that you can spend on a professional portrait. Do it. Spend it. Don't be cheap and do it yourself. It will look exactly that, unless you have real photography talent, which we are apparently lacking.

Which one did we use for Christmas cards? None of these...but it's just as good as these.

The Best Day Ever

#1 I found my keys.

#2 I lost the key to my friends office building a while ago but I found it yesterday.

#3 I found my camera.

#4 There is no #4.

#5 I have nothing that is lost right now.

#6 I spent the weekend with Christian at a very sweet hotel on Lake Washington celebrating our 18th anniversary.

#7 He surprised me with a week in Kauai on my next B-day. My favorite place on earth. I KNOW!

Missing!

After 12 hours of searching for my dang keys I finally found them on the floor of my car. Of course I looked there like 4 times. Obviously. they didn't appear until the 4th time I looked. My family cleaned the whole house helping me look for the buggers. It's 9pm and I feel AWESOME! Yeah. The house is so clean, I've got my keys.
The only thing I'm missing now is my camera.
It's silver and it has a lens and buttons.
It's been missing since Friday I think.

Part 2 of

After researching several books, not really, but after being haunted by that creepy dog image, it occurred to me that the creepy dog thing is really this:

This morning Josh and I were looking up "dogs" and this image came up.  What is it?  It's driving me CRAZY.  What animal is it?

Not Awesome: It's only 7:24 and I made 150 treat bags for trick-or-treaters and I am out of candy already! I'm experiencing anxiety. My lights are all off, so no one better come over or else I will just have to give them uncooked spaghetti, or a hand full of cereal. Last year I made 100 bags and it was barely enough, so I though 150 would be perfect.

Not Awesome: So since typing this like 6 groups of kids have come to the door. Now they think we're lame for being out of candy. I just turned off ALL the lights except for the light that comes from the computer now. DANG IT, the doorbell rang again. Sorry, I'm ignoring you, go to the next house.

If a young man desires to go on a date with Audrey, he'll need to make an appointment. Audrey's weekend schedule is pretty much booked. Also, in this picture, that is a wreath on the door, not a flower hat or some sort of headress.

I know it is FALL and that is a SPRING wreath, I'm not oblivious, it's just that some creature in our garage ate the berries off of our fall wreath so I need to deal with that funny business and fix it or get a new wreath. Wait till you see our halloween decor when it's all up! Prepare to be jealous and amazed!
