Uncomfortable Conversations Made Comfortable

Is it just me?
What am I doing wrong?

This is how it is whenever the topic of "sex" comes up in our family:

"...Okay so, when two people are in love...

"...then there is this thing..."
"...Here, let me draw it for you instead, it's kinda hard to explain..."

"...and that goes..."

"...and that's how you were made..."

"...but don't do that until you are married...."
"No problem", they say. "That is gross."

Note to self: (advice given from a great mom during Relief Society) Whenever talking about sex with my kids, be sure to start with talking about the Plan of Happiness, or the Plan of Salvation (same thing). When I begin the conversation with a spiritual start the beauty of the experience is recognized. Associate the power to create with our Heavenly Father and our purpose on earth.
